Barcode Scanners: It seems that every store you visit will have a different kind of barcode scanners. Some may resemble pens, others are built into the checkout counter tops, and some may even remind you of futuristic ice scrapers. They all may look different, but they are a vital part of the retail industry. Barcode readers are not only used in stores, but they are also used in other industries. Post-production companies use barcodes to track videotapes, film reels, as well as other products.
